Tamil Nadu Considering the Ban of Pro-Tiger Political Parties - ToTheCenter
Since UPA came to power at the Centre in 2004, India's overall response to terrorism has deteriorated significantly. UPA government of Dr. Manmohan Singh fails to understand that efforts against terrorism must continue. UPA government does not think that anti-terror laws are needed in India. India is a victim of Pakistan and Bangla Desh sponsored terrorism yet UPA government has closed its eyes on the situation in Tamil Nadu. DMK government is not doing enough to counter LTTE's support from within Indian borders. LTTE has the capability to conduct air strikes against Sri Lanka. This situation should worry Indians because history is witness support for any form of terror will only come back to hurt its sponsors as we have seen in Pakistan. Not only LTTE supporting political parties be banned but also there is need to seal Tamil Nadu coast so the LTTE can not get support from the state and to prevent infiltration by LTTE elements in Tamil Nadu. A victim of terrorism must have sympathy with other victims because it is a global problem. If that is not the case for DMK then India's claims for fight against terrorism are mere hypocrisy because DMK is a partner in UPA coalition at the Centre and its minister are part of Dr. Manmohan Singh's cabinet.
